Filmore & Union shortlisted in the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards 2018 suburban restaurant category!January 23, 2018 3:50 pm
We’re very excited to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the first time in the prestigious Oliver Awards; the Yorkshire Evening Post’s annual celebration of food/the dining scene in and around Leeds. Now in its tenth year, the awards are more competitive than ever so we are very pleased to have been shortlisted in the Suburban restaurant category alongside some household names and well established independents.
This is testament to the fact that we have worked hard over the last five years to bring our unique ‘feel good neighbourhood dining’ vibe to Yorkshire’s foodie suburbs (including Wetherby on the outskirts of Leeds), offering customers something they can’t get elsewhere on their local high street or outside of major cities.
We’ve been one step ahead when it comes to vegan, gluten free, and wellness-inspired food and drink and we feel that this really sets us apart from other local eateries. Unlike other health food cafes, we also offer a vibrant evening menu, including cocktails with a twist, at some of our suburban restaurants, including regular themed supper club nights like our increasingly popular vegan night which sees our development chefs experiment with the latest ingredients.
We’re also shortlisted in the Menu Innovation category of the upcoming national Casual Dining
Thank you to everyone that nominated us for the Oliver Awards and wish us luck at the awards
ceremony on 12 March 2018!
