Ever wake up the morning after an indulgent night with that ‘hungover’ feeling – even if you didn’t drink?  Often, if we make bad choices with our food (particularly late at night) the toxins build up in our bodies resulting in a not so fresh feeling the day after. Thankfully, you can combat it in no time with a nourishing breakfast to detoxify your body and provide packs of energy to ensure you don’t waste your day feeling anything less than fabulous!

Smoothies are a perfect way to do this, as they are super easy on the digestive system and mean you can even squeeze in some green goodness before you have even left the house! They are especially great if you have a busy, demanding lifestyle that means you don’t always have the time to make a hearty breakfast to kick start your day. We are firm believers that breakfast is truly the most important meal of the day, so we’re sharing with you our favourite detox smoothie to fill your bod with all the essential nutrients and vitamins it needs to stay happy and healthy…

Feeling bloated? Dose up on the nutrient rich, tropical fruit we all know and love so well: pineapple. It contains ‘bromlain’, an important enzyme that helps break down the proteins and therefore resulting in a flatter stomach. Along with this is green tea, which is loaded with antioxidants and metabolism boosting properties, mint leaves to aid digestion and chia and hemp seeds for an all natural protein boost to keep you going through out the morning. Whizzing this up couldn’t be easier too, so there is no excuses to miss out on a healthy breakfast to get you on the right tracks!



• 2 cups fresh pineapple, chopped

• Handful of spinach

• 8 mint leaves

• ½ tsp chia seeds

• ¼ cup hemp seeds, raw

• ¼ cup cold green tea

• ½ cup coconut milk

Combine all the ingredients together in a blender, making sure the pineapple is at the bottom. Blitz for 45 seconds on high until smooth and creamy. Pour in to your favourite mason jar and sip away!
