Now the temperatures are rising – all we crave for on a hot June day is a bowl of refreshing ice cream… But not as you know it!

We love to make our ‘ice cream’ with frozen bananas for a dairy free alternative that still tastes way too good to be… Well, good for you.

Here we have added in some seasonal strawberries to take it up to the next level – perfect for enjoying in the afternoon sun, or even for breakfast. Yup – you read that right! Ice cream is now perfectly acceptable to eat for breakfast… We’re not complaining 😉

To serve 2:

2 frozen bananas, chopped

1 cup strawberries

2 tbsp almond milk (may need more to help the bananas blend!)


Simply place all the above ingredients in a blender and whizz up until nice and smooth. Just add more liquid if needed!

Serve up with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
